Wanting Thoughts
Posted by steve
If you ever find yourself thinking too much, stop. Thinking can be a bad thing and bad things cause negative energy. Some people say to me “Steve, you’re always thinking” and I have to stop and ponder their comment for a minute. Wow, they’re right. I’m the type of person that is always thinking.
Now I said thinking can be a bad thing. There are good types of thinking. Positive thinking! However, when you find yourself starting to put thoughts in your head that make you upset or doubtful, stop immediately. Start to think about something good in your life. For example, someone you love or a trustworthy friend.
I had the experience this morning of waking up to a couple thoughts in my head that made me feel negative. I knew the minute it happened I would be setting my day up to be a chain reaction of negative events. I switched gears and started to put positive energy into my Universe.
I find that bad thoughts are those of “wanting thoughts”. When you start to think about things that make you “want”, you will find yourself feeling empty. Don’t get this confused with using the Law of Attraction which is defined as people’s thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) that dictate the reality of their lives. I believe that if a person truly feels and believes they want something, they will get it. However, if you want something for the wrong reason or if that “wanting thought” is making you feel empty, jealous or stressed you should stop that thought immediately.
Don’t let “wanting thoughts” take control of you. Open your mind and open your heart.
The Universe will start to rearrange itself to make it happen for you.

I never perceived wanting thoughts as negativei know that thoughts without action doesn’t create reality or change.
A m in the process of learning how to reflect.
Right on with getting in touch with your feelings. I somehow always manage to keep them in the background and didn’t realize how powerful they are.

@Michael: I understand the way you look at “wanting thoughts” to be negative. There are thoughts that are positive, like “wanting” to help a fundraiser or “wanting” to help a friend.
I guess what I was trying to get at was “wanting thoughts” that would just make you feel empty or hurt your feelings.
The Law of Attraction says that you should want things, because you will get them if you truly believe it; however, I believe a person should stay away from “wanting thoughts” that make them feel depressed. A good example of “wanting thought” that would be OK is “Boy I really want that BMW.” Keep thinking that because by the Law of Attraction, you will get it.
Get in touch with those inner feelings Michael and thanks for sharing your feelings with us.

Yes, “wanting thoughts” can make you feel depressed. Today, I truly understand that. I have been “wanting” a relationship with a certain individual and it is hurtful when it is not reciprocal.
