Your world… your Universe is what you make it.

Take what I just said into deep thought. You surround yourself with what you want. If you choose to live a happy life, you think of positive things. You may be the person who says “I have the worst luck ever.” No, there’s no luck, there’s you. You may not know it, but what happens is you think negative thoughts and attract the badness to you.

Let me use my life as an example.

I never realized why I’m a happy person until I received an e-mail from my father a couple months ago. It was a link to watch an inspirational movie from www.SimpleTruths.com. Ever since then I have been buying books from their website and it has really showed me a new way of thinking. Then my friend Christine recommended I read “The Secret“. That was it. Done. I was completely inspired and motivated and it opened my eyes on how you control your life.

You paint your world. I can’t express this enough. I always surround myself with great company. My family and friends are always around me.

I was walking back to my cubicle in the office a couple weeks ago. When I walk the halls I always have a smile on and when I pass people I make sure I smile at them. Most of the time I receive one back, but sometimes other people will keep their heads down to avoid eye contact. This particular day one of my colleagues asked me “why are you always happy?”. I told him because I surround myself with happiness.

If you only see the good, you will feel good about yourself. I know sometimes life can throw curve balls and something horrible may happen, but you have to reach deep down and believe that it happened for a reason. There is a plan and a purpose for everyone.

PAINT YOUR WORLD

Grab your favorite paint brush and choose your favorite color. Start painting. Start small. If you could change something today, what would it be? Maybe just smile more?

You control your world, your Universe. Listen to it when it speaks to you and show it what you wish for. It will happen.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
