Don’t Worry

I bet you worry. We all do at some point. There’s going to be something in your life that needs attention. A problem that needs to be solved. We all tend to worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet. That’s the worst! It’s not healthy to focus all your efforts on the “what ifs”. The average worrier is 92% inefficient – only 8% of what we worry about ever comes true.

8%! That’s a very low percentage. Go back to a recent situation that you worried about that never happened. How much energy did you drain? How much anxiety did you cause yourself? Unhealthy? Indeed it is. The next time you feel the need to worry, just step back and wait a minute. Ask yourself, “Is this really something I need to focus my efforts and energy on?”.

Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen.  Keep in the sunlight.  ~Benjamin Franklin
